Downloading MPEGs(Movie) files:

When downloading mpegs (movies) make sure you save them to your hard drive by right clicking on the link and saving as the file name. Remember these files are very large averaging about 6-7megs so if you have a slow modem you might have to wait a long time to download these files.

 How to save MPEGs and Real Videos to your hard drive?

We will  explain step by step  how to do this if you are  unfamiliar on this  procedure.

Step 1: Put you mouse pointer over the link (movie) you want to save.

Step 2: Click on the right buttom of your mouse, depending on what browser you are using a diolog box will pop up giving you options.Refer to the screen shots  if you are not aware of these functions.

Step 3: After choosing the "save as" or "save target as" function a dialog box will pop us allowing you to select where on your hard drive you want to save the file. Choose a place where you will not forget and then then hit the "save" button. The file will now begin to download and save to the place you selected. You may continue to browse the site while this is happening and when the download is compleate the file will be saved to your computer to be watched over and over again.

Downloading and Saving Files with Internet Explorer

 First place Mouse Pointer over link you want to download and save to your hard drive.


 
 
  1. Then "Right-click" on the download link. Select Save Target As....
    2. Right-click menu with 'Save Target As...' highlighted

  2. The File Download window will appear, indicating the estimated download time for the file selected.

  3. The Save As window will appear. Select  location for the download to be saved. The file's name can be changed if desired as well. Click Save to start downloading.

  4. The selected file will be downloaded, with the File Download window providing the status of the download.

  5. The File Download window will indicate that the download is complete. Open or Open Folder can be used to access the downloaded file.
